Keishla Rodriguez girlfriend of Felix Verdejo boxer of Puerto Rican found dead. A 27-year-old young girl Keishla Rodriguez Ortiz was missing on Thursday and her dead body was found in the area of the Teodoro Moscoso Bridge in the lagoon in the U.S. She was identified Sunday via dental records, Puerto Rico’s Institute of Forensic Science according to the statement.

Rodriguez was a beautiful and kind girl. She loves animals and pets and she even recused animals. Keishla has two kittens and two puppies at home. She works in an animal grooming place. Keishla was very close to her family(mother Keila Ortiz Rivera and her sister). She knows Verdejo from their school days. Even though Felix was married he had a relationship with Keishla.
Verdejo represented Puerto Rico at the Olympics in 2012, he became a professional boxer competing in the lightweight division. His career was temporarily sidetracked after the motorcycle accident that put him in the hospital in 2016.

According to the family, Keishla was pregnant with Felix’s child for one and a half month. She told her mother that she would meet Felix and show him a fertility test and blood examination that proved her pregnancy.

Ms. Keila said she received a call about 9:30 am from her other girl that boss called me and informed Keishla is not at work.
“For me, that was super strange because she is very responsible about her job,” Ms. Ortiz Rivera said.
Ms. Rivera said she called Mr. Verdejo to ask about her daughter Keishla Rodriguez, and he said he did not know where she was.
Puerto Rican boxer Félix Verdejo turned himself in to the law enforcement official on Sunday night, a criminal complaint filed against him filled by the FBI accuses Verdejo of punching Keishla Rodríguez in the face and injecting her with a syringe filled with an unidentified substance bought at a public housing complex. It alleges that Felix Verdejo then bound Keishla’s arms and feet with wire and then tied a heavy block to her before throwing her off from the bridge at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday Morning.
Felix Verdejo is charged with:
- Kidnapping resulting in death
- Carjacking resulting in death
- Intentionally killing the unborn child
- He is eligible for the death penalty if convicted
