After Chicago Police The star announced on Aug. 30 that the upcoming 10th season of the hit show would be his last, and the well-wishes began pouring in from fans and colleagues — none more poignantly than a message from Soffer’s TV wife Tracy Spiridakos.
“I think the word is. Jesse, what can I say, you’re absolutely the best.” – the actress wrote on Instagram on August 30 along with a set photo of both. “Thank you for your kindness, your guidance and your friendship. You are the best screen husband a girl could wish for.”
Jesse, who plays Detective Jay Halstead, was in the movie Chicago Police since the show premiered in 2014. Spiridakos, who plays detective Hayley Upton Halstead, joined the show in its fourth season.
“I will miss being on set with you every day,” Spiridakos continued the post. “I can’t wait to see what the world has in store for you next. #upsteadforever”
