Tom Cruise is still “ruining” the filming of “Call the Midwife”, claims the star

Yes, Surrey, Tom Cruise has arrived.

Cruise’s UK commute allegedly disrupts filming of BBC drama ‘Call the Midwife’ says star Jenny Agutter in a new interview.

“Tom Cruise continues to ruin our photos by landing a helicopter right next to where we’re shooting,” said the 69-year-old actress Mirror.

The ‘Top Gun’ star, who has a pilot’s license, reportedly flew a helicopter over the set of ‘The Midwife’ in Surrey, England, causing quite a stir as the actors tried to shoot scenes. Cruise appears to be in town filming ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’.

A Cruise representative did not immediately return a request for comment. Agutter, who plays Julienne’s sister, was asked to speak to Cruise about his allegedly naughty chopper habits.

“In my custom! Imagine. “Sorry Tom, but look, we’re trying to film. I don’t know about you, but just get your helicopter out of here quick!” she joked.

Cruise is no stranger to the skies. In fact, he is so agile in the air that he is known to perform his own stunts in the “Top Gun” movies.

“I always thought there was something I could do and wanted to push this art form. I thought, ‘How can I immerse the audience in a movie with this kind of action? And how am I supposed to entertain them? What can I do?” the 60-year-old actor told this year’s Cannes Film Festival, detailing his obsession with taking risks.

Daredevil even landed the latest movie “Mission: Impossible” in his own helicopter earlier this year and flew alone until the release of Top Gun: Maverick.

Vanilla skies on Earth don’t seem to be enough for Cruise, who wants to become the first actor to shoot a film in space – with the intention of shooting a film on the International Space Station.

“I think Tom Cruise is taking us into space, taking the world into space,” said Donna Langley, president of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, according to BBC News. “That’s the plan. Tom and I are developing a great project… Taking a rocket to the Space Station and shooting.”
