The Sussex team confirms King Charles is too busy to meet Prince Harry

Prince Harry’s team confirmed on Tuesday that King Charles III is too busy to meet the Duke of Sussex during his visit home this week.

“In response to numerous inquiries and ongoing speculation as to whether the Prince will meet his father in the UK this week, unfortunately this will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” a spokesman for Haz said in a statement.

“The Prince obviously understands his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities, and hopes to see him soon.”

Harry, 39, landed in London on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Paul, which took place on May 8. His wife, Meghan Markle, decided to stay in California instead of attending the celebratory event.

Multiple sources told Page Six that the royal renegade invited his family to the event as an olive branch, but no one took the bait.

No senior members of the royal family are expected to attend as Kate Middleton continues to undergo treatment for cancer and Harry remains largely separated from Prince William.

The red-haired royal has not visited London since making a short trip in February to visit his father after learning the reigning monarch had also been diagnosed with cancer.

Page Six previously reported that Harry met Charles at Clarence House for a “quick visit” that didn’t even last an hour.
