Kim Kardashian has revealed the gown she wore before North conceived
Kim Kardashian clearly remembers the dress she wore the night she and Kanye West conceived their firstborn, North.
The Skims founder, 42, told her 9-year-old daughter on The Kardashians’ season 2 finale that West, 45, was given a “nice blue dress” in which she “got pregnant.”
“You got in my belly the night I wore that dress,” she told her mini-less daughter.
Kardashian then joked that Olivier Rousteing – designer of the royal blue dress – may “have something to do” with North being “on this planet”.
North was born on June 15, 2013.
About eight months earlier – on October 22, 2012 – Kardashian had been photographed wearing a blue dress on the red carpet of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation’s Angels Ball in New York City.
At the time, the reality TV star completed her low-cut, long-sleeved style with a fishtail braid, matching blue earrings, a large ring, and black pointy pumps.
West also attended the event alongside his then-girlfriend, looking dapper in a tuxedo.
Since the birth of their eldest daughter, the ex-spouses welcomed three more children: 6-year-old Saint, 4-year-old Chicago and 3-year-old Psalm.
They were married for seven years before Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021.
After months of several failed public attempts by West to reclaim his estranged wife, a judge announced in March 2022 that Yeezy’s CEO and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alumnus are legally single.
However, the divorce is yet to be fully finalized as the couple work through custody issues over their four children.
