Holland was brought in to fight Thiago Santos at UFC 227, although he wasn’t immediately signed after the win. On August 4, 2018, Holland made his UFC debut against Thiago Santos at UFC 227. He lost because everyone was against him.

He fought John Phillips on November 24, 2018 at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Ngannou 2. He won the match by pinning Phillips in a rear naked choke in the third round.
