Jimmy Fallon asks Elon Musk for help after a death hoax goes viral

Jimmy Fallon is alive and well after a hashtag suggesting his death went viral on Tuesday night.

To help fix the death hoax, the ‘Tonight Show’ host turned to Elon Musk for help, tweeting“Elon, can you fix this? #RIPJimmyFallon.

Musk has yet to respond to the late-night host’s request, though that may be because Fallon didn’t specifically tag him.

The 51-year-old Musk has been struggling with many problems since then takeover of social mediawhat he had been forced to do suspend its launch on Twitter Blue after the number of people impersonating “verified” accounts increased.

Model Gigi Hadid deactivated her Twitter account soon after, calling the platform “a cesspool of hate and bigotry.”

“For a long time, but especially with new leadership,” Hadid wrote on Musk’s Instagram. “It is becoming more and more a cesspool of hate and bigotry [sic] it’s not a place I want to be a part of.”

Hadid, 27, added an apology to her fans on the platform, writing that she loved connecting with them.

“I can’t stay, it’s a safe place for anyone,” she continued, “or a social platform that will do more good than harm.”

Toni Braxton previously announced that she would also be leaving the social media platform in light of the changes and mass layoffs.

“I am shocked and appalled by some of the ‘free speech’ I have seen on this platform since its acquisition. Hate speech under the guise of “free speech” is unacceptable; that’s why i choose to stay away from twitter as it is no longer a safe place for me, my sons and other POCs” She wrote last month.
