Papangkorn Lerkchaleampote, better known as Beam, clearly had a bright future ahead of him due to the fact that anyone who ever had contact with him or saw his work as an up and coming entertainer had nothing but positive things to say about him. Unfortunately, it all came crashing down early this year when he passed away unexpectedly. As a result, Netflix’s six-part limited series “Thai Cave Rescue” is the only production it has ever officially completed. It’s just one of the many reasons why he was honored in it with the honor of saying, “For Beam 1996-2022.” As a result, now if you want to understand more about him and his passing, we’ve got you covered.

Who was this Beam man?

On August 31, 1996, Papangkorn “Beam” Lerkchaleampote was said to have been born in Bangkok, Thailand, into what is said to be a very encouraging family. He made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2015 as a model and actor. Actually, his first major role was the same year as Muek’s lead character in the LGBT romantic comedy ‘Water Boyy’, and after that he gradually rose in the ranks only to do better and better work in the industry. The fact that he practiced taekwondo from the age of six to fourteen contributed, at least in part, to his imposing physical appearance, in addition to his undeniable prowess and tenacity, but it is important to note that his physical appearance is not the only factor in his good luck.

As a result, Beam was able to land a large number of Netflix original episodes in Thailand. Some of these shows include “Nong Mai Rai Borisut”, “Mister Merman”, “Sleepless Society”, “Bang Rachan” and “Blue Wave”. However, Kraam’s character in Netflix’s “The Stranded” (2019), in which students of a prestigious school are shipwrecked on a remote and mysterious island, remains the most important thing he has ever done professionally. After that, of course, he could perform miracles in the role of Coach Eak in the movie “Thai Rescue Cave”, but it seems that he will not be able to perform his most recent and upcoming romantic comedy, called “Love Fate 2.”

How did Beam die?

Beam was taken to hospital on March 23, 2022 from his apartment in Chatuchak, located in Bangkok, Thailand. His mother had made an emergency call to the hospital and reported that her son had stopped breathing. On that fateful day, she went to his room to wake him up and came closer when she got no response. She was shocked to see that there was no breath left in his body when she finally realized what she was looking for. Beam was reportedly pronounced dead at neighboring Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital as a result of several failed attempts to resuscitate him in the moments that followed the incident. The 25-year-old man has been in critical condition since the accident.

Reports indicate that the cause of death was the event known as Sudden Unexpected Death (SUD), as there was no evidence of malicious intent in his room or residence and he died quietly in his sleep. However, his loved ones requested an autopsy just in case, prompting his talent management company to issue a statement pledging to provide new information, if any. Because of this, and the fact that there has been no news in the past six months at the time of writing, it seems that the actor left due to completely natural and unforeseen circumstances; the fact that he was otherwise healthy and happy makes this situation even more tragic.

Beam Die’s debut film

The LGBT drama film Water Boyy was released in Thailand in 2015 and was directed by Rachi Kusonkusiri. Ngern Luangsodsai Anupart starred in the film as ‘Nam’ and Beam Papangkorn played the role of ‘Meuk’. Most of the shooting took place in Thailand.

In early March, it was announced that the original film would be remade into a series called Water Boyy: The Series, albeit with different actors. Characters such as Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri, now known as “Waii”, and New Thitipoom Techaapaikhun, now known as “Apo” are among the newcomers. It aired for the first time on April 9, 2017.
