Harry Styles’ mom defends “Don’t Worry Baby” after the cast’s drama

Harry Styles’ mother, Anne Twist, defended her son’s new film “Don’t Worry Baby” in the midst of the ongoing hype behind the scenes drama.

“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all,” Twist wrote in her Instagram coverage on Thursday, ostensibly in response to people criticizing the video in her comment section the day before.

“Honestly, I am amazed and saddened by the scathing comments here. I liked the movie. If that’s not your cup of tea, don’t go … “

She continued, “If you don’t like me … please don’t follow me. Straight.”

While the movie didn’t get great reviews from critics, Twist raved about the movie after watching it with a group of friends on Wednesday.

“First time in French cinema .. on the first day showing ..” Don’t worry baby “, you were perfect!” wrote on Instagram. “I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Well done @oliviawilde and the team for hooking us up, good job @harrystyles for being a great Jack. As always, very proud 😊 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. “

While some of her 2.6 million followers criticized the film itself, others called on the mother of two for not commenting on Florence Pugh’s performance.

Another handful of comments concerned 28-year-old Styles’ controversial relationship with Wilde – which allegedly caused a split on the set with 26-year-old Pugh.

Earlier this year, rumors started circulating that the cast of the show had had some behind-the-scenes issues when Pugh – who is usually active on the Internet – has not posted any promotions of the movie on her social media pages.

Things took a turn last month when Wilde, 38, claimed he had fired Shia LaBeouf from the film to protect the Little Women actress – a fact later denied by the leaked video.

But the story of the actress-turned-director doesn’t waver when she told Stephen Colbert on Wednesday that LaBeouf had given her an “ultimatum.”

“We had to replace the Shi’ites. He’s a fantastic actor, but it didn’t work, she he said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” “When he gave me an ultimatum, you know, he or Florence, I chose Florence.”

Although LaBeouf claims he quit the film, Wilde said, “It felt like he was moving away, and it felt like we were going on without him.”
