Constance Wu says she faced harassment on Fresh Off the Boat

In her upcoming memoir, the 40-year-old actress claims she was sexually harassed by a production crew member during her first year with Just off the boattrans New York Times. Constance claims the producer “controlled her, demanding that she conduct all her business outside of him and telling her what to wear.” NYT wrote in his profile on September 23.

In one instance, she said she and a producer were together at a sporting event back in 2015, where the producer placed their hand on her thigh near her crotch.

E! News reached out to ABC but did not receive a comment.

Reflecting on the alleged experience, Constance shared with the publication that she feels “paranoid and confused.”

“Just off the boat was my first TV show, she said. – I was thrown into this world. I don’t have parents in the industry. And because I was 30, people thought I knew what I was doing.”
