Charles enters Buckingham Palace for the first time as king
King Charles III first entered Buckingham Palace as monarch following the death of Queen Elizabeth II – but he did not know which door to pass through.
After shaking hands and greeting onlookers outside the royal residence on Friday, the 73-year-old walked the circuit with Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles, examining notes and bouquets of flowers at the gate.
