Brooke Shields claims her adult daughters sleep in her bed when her husband is away

Brooke Shields still has a close bond with her adult daughters, Grier and Rowan Henchy.

The model (58) shared the photos on Thursday’s episode of Sirius XM’s “The Jess Cagle Show” that her daughters still stay with her in bed when her husband, Chris Henchy, is out of town.

“My younger daughter [Grier] I just turned 18,” she said. “You know, the moment my husband is on any kind of business trip or goes away or something, you know, they still sleep in the bed with me.”

She added: “We still watch romantic comedies. They are my children and they will never stop.”

With Grier and Rowan, 20, set to leave the nest and head to college, Shields said she “avoids” the thought of them being gone.

“Yes, I’ve been avoiding thinking about it because people have told me, ‘Oh, you’ll be so relieved,’ and I just don’t see it happening,” she said.

The Blue Lagoon star added: “I don’t think anything like that would happen. I thought, “Oh well, they’ll come back anyway,” and by the way, the cost of living in this city is so prohibitive anyway that this might work to my advantage.

Shields joked that she might “start charging” her girls for rent.

“That might be a good idea,” she joked.

The mother of two’s close relationship with her daughters translates into their fashion style.

Last December, Grier wore one of her mother’s dresses from the year she was born – a strapless black Richard Tyler gown from 2006 – on the CNN Heroes red carpet.

This September, the teenager wore an early 2000s gold metallic Shields gown to support her mother’s one-woman show at Café Carlyle.
