Brandy supports Ray J after he writes about suicidal thoughts
Brandy posted a sweet tribute to her brother Ray J on social media after sharing a series of disturbing posts about his mental health.
“Need you bro @rayj 🙏🏽”, 43-year-old graduate of “Moesha”, signed a photo of her and 41-year-old singer “One Wish”, on Instagram on Friday.
Friends and fans flooded the comment section with support messages and hand prayer emojis.
Ray J caused concern Thursday night when he posted and removed videos that appeared to reveal he was struggling with suicidal thoughts.
“If it weren’t 4 my Kidz, I would have jumped out and died tonight”, a graduate of “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” who shares daughter Melody, 5 and son Epic, 2, with again, leaving wife Princess Love – signed in one of the clips .
Then he wrote over the video where his legs are dangling from the shelf: “SHOULD JUMP MORE and finish [sic]. Now!!! ????
Ray J did not refer directly to his films or cryptic remarks, but sources close to the singer “Sexy Can I” TMZ said on Friday, alcohol was to blame for the fasts.
Insiders shared that Ray J was drinking when he posted the clips and that he was just “having fun”. Apparently he was not taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The source also previously told Page Six that the singer of “I Hit It First” was “okay” and “all is well.”
The insider added that the videos were shot while Ray J was “on vacation with Princess Love,” adding that the father of two “thought of issuing an Instagram statement on the matter, but changed his mind and is unclear.”
Ray J and Princess Love have had many ups and downs over the course of their six-year marriage.
In October 2021, the couple filed for a third divorce but has yet to be finalized, and it is unclear whether the couple has officially renewed their relationship.
