Alum “NCIS” Pauley Perrette Almost Died From “Massive Stroke” Last Year


Pauley Perrette revealed that she suffered a life-threatening stroke last year.

“It’s 9/2. A year ago, I had a huge injection [sic]”, Graduate of” NCIS “, 53 years old, tweeted Friday.

“Before, I lost so many beloved families and friends … And yet I still survived the traumatic life that has been given to me so far.”

The actress added that she was “so grateful” and “full of faith” that she was “STILL HERE!”

Post Perrette featured a selfie-style video in which she spoke of how grateful she is to have survived several life-threatening events.

“How many times do I cheat death?” Perrette asked. “I almost died from a hair dye allergy, I have food allergies. I am a victim of domestic violence and rape. “

“I’ve been through a lot in the last two years. Things that are harder than a stroke. But I’m still here. And I am still grateful. And thank you who are my friends.

The “Broke” star has faced several terrifying situations, including when a homeless man allegedly attacked her and threatened to kill her in 2015.

“I almost died tonight,” Perrette tweeted at the time.

She explained that she was walking around her neighborhood on a weekday afternoon when a man, later identified as David Merck, allegedly ran to her, pressed her hands, punched her nose, and repeated to her, “I”. I’ll kill you.

Merck was charged but found incompetent to stand trial. In 2016, a judge ruled that he was seeking treatment in a psychiatric hospital. He was released from the hospital two years later.

“It changed my life forever,” Perrette said in a statement at the time. “I’m not leaving my house. I think it’s quite possible that the next word I hear about this guy is he’ll kill a woman.
