Travis Kelce lands in Kentucky for Derby weekend without Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce landed in Kentucky.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player landed in the Bluegrass State on Friday for this weekend’s Kentucky Derby.

Alex Pall of the Chainsmokers posted a photo of Kelce with former NBA star Chandler Parsons on his Instagram Stories.

The electronic DJ, 38, also shared in a separate post that they were on their way to Sports Illustrated’s Revel and the Races event.

Then on Saturday, Kelce was photographed in elegant shape at the Kentucky Derby.

In photos on social media, the professional athlete could be seen wearing a brown suit, light blue shirt, navy fedora and matching tie as security guards and police escorted him through Churchill Downs in Louisville.

Kelce’s superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift was not in attendance as her private plane was reportedly headed to Paris. Her Eras Tour will start again on May 9 in the City of Love.

There has been recent speculation as to whether the famous couple will be watching the 150th annual horse race this weekend or attending the Miami Grand Prix in Florida.

Jimmy Kimmel recently compared Swift, also 34, to the Kentucky Derby, gushing about her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” and its record-breaking success.

“I feel like at this point Taylor Swift could win the Kentucky Derby if she wanted to,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the host joked in his April 30 monologue.

While the pop star and Kelce weren’t present at the event in previous years, Swifties were “manifesting” a joint appearance on X.

“Taylor and Travis showing up at the Kentucky Derby would be a fever dream,” one the social media user wrote on Twitter.

Other wrote that Swift just might because it is “in the era of sports” while different they were delighted that they “would like to see her in a fascinator”.

Kelce and Swift have been dating since the summer of 2023, and began their romance in September while attending a Kansas City Chiefs game.

The songwriter continued to support the athlete in the stands, and in February, he joined him on the field for a celebratory kiss during the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Kelce has made multiple appearances on Swift’s Eras Tour.

During his offseason and its break from touring, the duo made headlines with PDA-filled outings in the Bahamas, California, and more.

According to an eyewitness, Swift and Kelce spent the weekend getting “affectionate” at Patrick Mahomes’ charity event in Las Vegas.

Not only did the couple look loved up at the April 28 gala, but fans of the “Cruel Summer” singer are convinced she was cheering on her boyfriend at a golf tournament earlier in the day.
